Use this infuser to properly steep loose leaf herbal teas. It comes with a cover. That's what you need. Covering while steeping allows the most life-giving oils and nutrients to be transferred from the herbs to the water. Plus, did you know tea bags often include microplastics (those plastic tea bags) or chemicals (when the tea bag paper has been bleached)? 🙀 This infuser is food-grade stainless steel, with ultra fine mesh for superior straining, and wide handles that fit just about any mug (but! not the clear double-walled mug, which is why we offer this different infuser). Get the most out of any medicinal tea by covering it while steeping. (We used to use a scrap of tin foil to cover ours. This infuser is a much more elegant and less messy solution!) Elegant and easy.
