Life Transitions: Thoughts on Memorial Day

Transitions...

and emotions.

I’ve been feeling a lot of this lately, witnessing this theme run rampant in the lives of friends, family, and co-workers.

  • My Mom had a stroke a few months ago and she’s transitioning to a new kind of life. She's healing well but also saying goodbye to life before the stroke.
  • Friends have moved, saying goodbye to neighbors and towns while creating space for new ones.
  • And others have had to say goodbye to the physical presence of loved ones in their lives.

Cumin, my soulcat who transitioned in 2016, is everywhere in my home, especially my office. These symbols just remind me that she’s still here.

But emotions still come up...and then move through.

I’m always learning and re-learning how to let go and trust, and at the same time, care for and hold my center.

Life's always like that, really.
A balancing cat.
I mean – a balancing act 😊

Sending out a special love prayer/blessing/beam of light to you and to your process, and thinking of all your loved ones today.

As part of recognizing Memorial Day, here are a few items we've curated in honor of our beloved cats, and for honoring our experience of grief and loss.

May you be truly blessed.

With Love & Above,
Siena

I really thought that I was on the email list but I must not be so signing up now. I have jonah’s favorite toys out, photos of him and Sampson in my bedroom, and many of Asa’s belongings were once jonah and Sampson’s so they are very much still here with us 🥰

Hi Lori! I love how you celebrate and still feel Jonah and Sampson with you! And it’s the sweetest thing that Asa has their belongings….all of it, so LOVE-SOAKED!!! Thanks for signing up too!
