This newest version of the Lavender Comfort Heart is luxe and velvety! When we found this fabric, I had to offer it as a Lavender Comfort Heart. It was so soothing to the touch, and it's beautiful and pliable as you work with it. A gentle, lavender-filled 'fidget toy.'
I designed these Comfort Hearts to help calm, regulate, and ground you in your body. Each heart fills the senses: with the incredibly soft, soothing, and smooth fabric and the scent of the calming organic lavender flowers. Similar to 'worry stones' or 'fidget toys' – except, without the worry 🙏🏻 – these "sensory amulets" invite you to handle them, hold them, breathe in the lavender, and bring more regulation to your nervous system.

The moment I held this velvet heart I was instantly taken back to holding my soul cat Joey. I called him my black velvety because his fur felt just like the heart. He was my constant companion for almost 16 years. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge May 18. I miss my boy more than words can say. A part of me went with him. When I hold the velvet heart close to mine, I close my eyes and imagine holding Joey again, stroking his glorious black velvety coat. Thank you for creating so soothing and healing.
